Strong, feminine, romantic, nostalgic; Michelle Martine’s own brand of jazz and vintage soul has made a name for itself in the Australian music industry. As one of the busiest vocalists in Sydney, she’s played with everyone from Smokey Robinson and Robbie Williams to Silverchair, Ronan Keating and Jessica Mauboy.

2013 saw Michelle become a key cast member of the Voice Season Two and take the next step in her solo career. Her debut EP peaked at #1 on the Australian iTunes Soul/RnB Album chart and she landed a reoccurring performance role in the television drama series “Love Child” on the Nine Network.

A true lover of all things (especially audible and edible things) that inspire us to gratitude, Michelle began the blog “Soldier of Beauty” based on the belief that beauty, witnessed and acknowledged, has the power to change the world. This next chapter sees her combine her passions for music, food and life in general to entertain, to inspire and to create a community of like-minded individuals, dedicated to seeking out and celebrating the beautiful life in all its forms.

In an age of fast food, fast living and antisocial media, someone’s bringing the romance back – and it’s Michelle Martine.

They say that you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Whoever said it first was undoubtably a little gloomy (quite possibly due to lack of cake.) But what if you could take the dance floor favourites and introduce them to the vintage glamour of swing and jazz? What if you could walk that sparkly line between energy and elegance?

That’s the essence of the Martine show. Encapsulating everything from a solo performance with track to an hour long show with a full band, choreographed backing vocalists and a riotous horn section, it’s current, high energy and thoroughly entertaining with an extra dash of old world charm for good measure.

Cake anyone?
